Snow Days

Emma loves playing in the snow. We have had lots of it lately too and the cold doesn't seem to get to her the girl just keeps on playing. Brian and I hope to take her skiing next year!

Emma continues to talk all the time. I had put her down for a nap the other day and heard her up and walking around so I went up to tell her to go to bed and when I get up there she is back in bed with a book and says " mom, I am just going to read this book in bed. Is that ok?" totally sassy too it was pretty funny. She also has been telling Brian and I that we are her best friends in the whole world and when she wants us to do something, like laying in her bed with her to prolong going to bed, she says "I need my best friend to lay down with me" The girl has a plan for everything and tells us "thats the plan or thats the rule" she loves Anna and is always trying to make her laugh. It is just so fun to see the girls grow. Emma tells me is wants Anna to be big like her. I think it will be so fun to watch them as they start playing together. Well I can't WAIT for spring. I am so excited it is almost Feb, we are getting there. Hope everyones doing well.

Fun times

Emma has been so fun lately she loves to pretend so we spend our evenings as a family going shopping in the basement, going on the airplane to the beach, building sandcastles, going to class, having tea parties and on and on. It is so fun to see her little imagination. She says some pretty funny stuff too. She told me yesterday "Hattie's my best friend in the whole world" not sure where she got that. She is also praying for us every night at dinner, and she tells us when we can pray and eat, and if we start eating before she has prayed she says "not yet guys, we need to pray" She like to make up songs and also change songs to add her name into them. She talks all the time to Annabel in a totally different voice. It is just so funny to listen to her. Here are some more random pics over the last month.

Christmas pics

Emma icing christmas cookies, or just eating the icing. we had so much making cookies with Emma this year. She likes to help out in the kitchen and made some pretty good cookies.

We went to Columbia for christmas and on christmas eve we woke up to snow. Emma loved playing in the snow, and having me pull her around.

In Columbia we got to stop by one of our friends houses and meet their new little girl, Riley. Sarah and I were due 5 days apart and ended up having the girls 1 month apart! It was so good to see Sarah, Tyler and Riley! I cant wait to watch as the girls grow together!

Emma on Christmas morning, on a new toy. Emma loved Christmas. She new it was Jesus's birthday and that santa brought toys. Emma asked for a basketball hoop for Christmas and santa did bring that to her and she was so excited.

When Emma talks to her is always says " you want to do that little girl" she always calls her little girl. It is so cute to listen to Emma talk to her and then say "mommy she wants to do this" like Annabel told her what she wants. Its pretty funny.

Then after Christmas in Columbia we went to my parents house and spent the night there and had another Christmas. Emma was enjoying opening all the presents.
