So I have read a couple of my friends blogs about a day in their life and it makes me laugh I can so relate. So I decided this post would be about our day today.
0730- Anna's up
0800- breakfast for Anna and coffee for me
0830- wake up Emma, or she would sleep unitl oh 9:30-10:00
0845- Bottle for Anna, ( yes I am done nursing)!
0900- Annabel morning nap. Then make Emma breakfast
0930- shower for me, while Emma watches TV. I need to get my hair dried and straightened and get dressed.
1030- Annabel aalmost ready. Get the kids dressed, we need to go to the store and to target. Emma however is very difficult to dress at this age and has an opinion about what she should wear. It is colder out today so I make her try on her jeans. She tells me " i hate wearing jeans, I can't march in them" So instead of the struggle we take of the third pair of jeans and go with leggings ( easier for marching) and everyones happy.
1100- off to target first. Get the cart that has little seats for Emma, which is then attached to the cart. Yes it is hard to push, but whatever. Picking up shampoo for me and Emma is using the bar on the cart like the bars at gymnatistics and swinging and practicing "basket hangs". All while Anna is standing up, or crying because she wants to be down and walking around. So to get things moving I am holding Anna and pulling the cart from the front (only because it is way easier with a baby on the hip to steer that way)
1145- to the store. Everyone is whining and hungry. We stop by the meats and get cheese for the girls. Emma puts the whole thing in her mouth at once so she can hold on as she rides standing at the end of the cart.
1230- Home! Unload and lunch time.
1:00- Annabel bottle, Emma's playing a game on the ipad.
1:30- Emma to sleep
2:00- Anna to sleep
2:30- The air conditioning guy at the door, because that stopped working, Awesome! I am whispering because Annabel is asleep in the pack n play in the guest room because she and Emma share a room and I dont want her waking up Emma early.
2:45- Anna crying because the service guy is talking so LOUD, really! I let her cry it out and back to sleep. I just need to send some emails, and really laudry will have to be another day, sorry Brian!
3:30- Anna awake. We laugh and play and totally enjoy my sweet littles
4:00 -Emma awake and crying, who knows why. The service guy tells me its going to be another $300, great!!
4:30- He leaves. I let the dog out ( who has to be up when people come over bc she's not to friendly to strangers.)
5:00- walk up to the village to take my dress to the dry cleaners.
5:45- Brian HOME. Thanks to Daddy's who take over when they get home.
6:00- Make dinner for the girls and Brian, I am heading out to meet the girls.
6:45- Meet the girls out. Thank goodnesses. Totally needed a glass of wine!
9:00- Home. Put Emma to bed.
9:30- Emma still up ( I love you Mommy) As I carry her back to bed for the third time!
10:10- finish this post, going to talk to brian and probably watch a show and stay up too late before having to get everyone up early for work in the morning.
Most of day with was spent pretending with Emma.I amPam, her preschool teacher and I was planning the day. All of her friends were with us most of the day too. The girl is always pretending!
This is a typical day and also pretty uneventful. I totally love this season of life, even though its CRAZY!! I am blessed with sweet girls and an awesome husband.
